Rtn. Navneet Maheshwari (PHF), scion well known business house in Central India, is an amateur naturalist as well. He is recognized for his love of wildlife, nature and environment.
He has been running environmental educational and conservation activities for almost a decade. Well known for his fight to save Tigers, its habitat and other denizens of the forest, his multiple petitions are pending with the Hon’ble High Court of Madhya Pradesh.
He is member of NGO’s and societies like Narmada Welfare Society (NWS) – which is engaged in imparting education to the weaker sections of the society. Jabalpur Nature Society (JNS) – is engaged in environment education in and around Jabalpur region and Narmada Education & Welfare Society (NEWS) – is engaged in conservation and related activities around forests of central India. He is a Rotarian and recipient of Paul Harris Fellowship, member of Bombay natural history Society (BNHS), Peoples for Animal (PFA), Satpuda Foundation and many other social and philanthropic organizations.
He loves reading books on environment and wildlife and seriously pursues wildlife photography and has more than 150 acceptances / Certificates of Merit / awards in different National and International competitions.
Apart from business he gives time to conservation activities including nature education, awareness programmes, slide shows, working with backward class dependent on forest produce to improve their economic standard and decrease dependency on forests.
